Earlier this year, details on Intel’s alleged 11th Generation Desktop CPU, Core i9-11900K were revealed through a Chinese Youtuber.
Recently, more details about the CPU have emerged by revealing its performance on a single thread.
Further to that, the Core i9-11900K performance has been found on the PassMark software database. Through it, we can see that the Intel CPU is leading by recording 3764. Overcoming the AMD CPU powered Zen-3, Ryzen 5000 series.
Not only that, the Core i9-11900K clock record on the database shows that it has a base clock of 3.5GHz and peaks at an enhanced clock at 5.2GHz. At the same time, this processing is operated at 125W TDP.
So far, it is not known whether this CPU-enhanced clock speed is recorded based on Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB) activation or not. In addition, there is no indication that TVB could affect single or multi-core performance. If it affects the performance of multiple cores, all cores can be upgraded to as high as 4.8GHz only.
The 11th Generation Intel Rocket Lake-S CPU is expected to be the latest processing from Intel using a 14nm lithographic process. The manufacturing process will be replaced by a 10nm lithography process in the Alder Lake-S series later.
It is expected that the Intel Rocket Lake-S processing series will be launched around March 2021.
