Hotlink recently reportedly implemented a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) from 8 pm to 12 AM. Control of use during peak hours is done on a daily basis during the period of this Movement Control Order (MCO).
Based on a report from Amanz, Hotlink stated that this implementation aims to ensure that its customers enjoy good service without interruption.
Hotlink unlimited plan users will be limited to 512kbps only if data usage exceeds 50GB per month. This is made under FUP as explained on the Hotlink FAQ page.
So far, Hotlink and Maxis have not issued any official statement on this matter.
