Xiaomi Mi Box can turn a regular television into a smart TV. German Xiaomi has now confirmed that they will be launching the Mi TV Stick. It probably works like a Chromecast Ultra but with a remote.
The details of the Mi TV Stick are still unknown. But most likely it will be using Android TV as an operating system. Also, it’s expected to support 4K display and Dolby Stereo Sound audio system. The remote controls included are same as those used on the Mi Box S and to be expected to support Google Assistant, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video base on the respective bulit-in buttons.
The launch is likely to take place after Google launches their latest Chromecast Ultra with similar features.
