A few days ago, we saw WhatsApp Beta testing the voice calling feature of up to 8 person. Today, along with the announcement of the introduction of Messenger Rooms, Facebook has confirmed that WhatsApp will support up to 8 person in a single voice and video calls.
With this ability, it also makes it easy for users to make voice or video calls between friends directly through WhatsApp. Previously, it was limited to up to 4 people (including the hosts).
WhatsApp also says that all these voice and video calls come with full encryption for security purposes, while avoiding anyone else listening to your conversation.
This feature will be introduced to all WhatsApp users soon.
